BATMAN

I've been meaning to submit a piece to the Covered blog for a while now but haven't gotten around to it. I ended up scrawling this rendition of one of Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns covers out in my sketchbook tonite. After some hasty coloring here you have it.  I tried to emulate Millers "way too many lines" thing but it kind of just comes off as over worked. I think I need to loosen up a lot (and pick a different cover) for my submission.

SKETCHBOOKERY

Here's some recent-ish sketchbook doodles. Some became finished projects some didn't make the cut. I think I'm going to have to compile some of this stuff in a new zine in the near future. TWY LUCHADOR

Just finished this new shirt for The Wonder Years. They'll be available at some upcoming shows so keep your eyes peeled. If you haven't heard already, Phantom Hand is closing it's doors this month so we're having a party of sorts this saturday from 6pm til late in the evening. There's a couple awesome bands booked and we'll have plenty of beverages for you to consume. Come say goodbye in style.
