PULP LOVIN'

This Friday, Pulp Love opens at Phantom Hand. I stepped a little outside of my comfort zone for this piece in more ways than one. Up top is the digital mock up of my print. The finish is on cream speckletone paper with 2 opposing split fountains for the background and flesh tone with black to trap it all up. The Hand got a little write up about the show here. Most importantly, there's an after party at Tattooed Mom from 10-2am after the gallery wraps things up.

PEAKING LIGHTS & DRE DAY BAGS

Up top is a new one for Parade of Flesh. Two colors with a trippy split fountain for Peaking Lights. Below that is the printed Dre Day bag, photo courtesy of Ed Blammo. The corporate sponsor objected to the image on the back side so we just went with the bell design.

DRE DAY 2012

I was happy to get an email from Ed Blammo a few weeks ago about doing Dre Day bags again this year. For the last 3 years Ed's been throwing a party on his and Dr. Dre's birthday and giving out a free 40oz. to the first 40 people that show up. Said 40's come in a brown paper bag with a screenprinted graphic by yours truly. Up top are the mock ups of this years bag. You can see the last one I did here. I'll post pics of the real deal once it's printed. Or you can head over to the M Room on the 18th and see for yourself.

COLDCUTS

John, my sometimes boss over at Cold Cuts Merch asked me a while back to come up with some ideas for promo shirts. The sketch up top went over pretty well. If you're from PA you might notice it's a nod to the old Hatfield packing logo. A logo I once received a cease and desist for using on t-shirts for my band back in high school.
