MYTH PROCESS PART 3
I was a little concerned that the films weren't dense enough but to my surprise I was able to burn my screens without a hitch. Tonite, I printed the red and blue layers. Normally I'd print light to dark but because my films were hand drawn I couldn't properly trap the blue layer Hence the red going down first. I burned the blue on 156 count mesh and left the jar I mixed it in open over night to let some of the water evaporate out. I DO NOT recommend this method because you'll be fighting the ink drying in your stencil but I've done this a few times and lucked out. The blue ended up covering on top the red really nicely. In past I've even been able to get bright light on dark prints without an underbase this way. The humidity in my basement warped the shit out of the paper so I'll be putting some heavy weights on top the stack overnight to try and have these flat enough to finish tomorrow.
