LAST OF THE SNAKE MINERS

Here's the last preview of my World's Fair work until the show. To be honest, this was my least favorite of my sketches so I put it off but I'm pretty damn happy with the finish. C'mon out on Nov. 5th and see it in person at Shadow's Space along with a ton of other great work by some friends both local and overseas.

VIDEO VIOLENCE

This Saturday is the Video Violence show at the I House. Up top is the promo card with all the particulars designed by the show's curator Justin Miller. Below that is my submission. After a long night of porch drinking my pal Anthony convinced me to take on "King of New York" for this piece. I wanted to avoid horror movies so I took his advice. The finish is photocopy and color paper collage, acrylic and ink on the actual video sleeve (you also get the tape with it.) Come on out this weekend and see it in person along with a ton of other awesome covers by even more awesome designers. Thanks to Ellen for the photo.

RATMILK FINAL MOCKS

I posted these on the World's Fair blog the other day and the general consensus points me toward the brown and white version. Think I might pump up the contrast on the other as well and print both if time allows. I'm also working on my submission for the Video Violence show at the I House later this month. More info once I get my piece finished. Also, my good friend and collaborator Mike Wohlberg just launched his new web store. Go buy some of his delicious prints.

SOLID GOOD TIMES: OCTOBER EDITION

Getting super creepy with this month's Solid Good Times poster. It's rare that I don't hand letter my type but I figured I'd keep this one simple and let the image do the talking. No boobs next month, maybe.

THE MONSTER SHOW

WORLD'S FAIR & T-SHIRTS

Above is a rough sketch for one of my World's Fair art show pieces. Due to some encouragement from my peers this ink piece will be hanging as well as a screen printed, more fleshed out version. I'm thinking 2 colors on chipboard. Also, there's exactly 1 week left to pre-order my new t-shirts from Cold Cuts (also meaning 1 week to be entered into the coinciding raffle). Go buy a shirt so I don't have to use them all as ink rags.
